Wunderlich replacement seat RT

Has anyone changed their RT stock seat with the one from wunderlich?

I bought a bmw comfort seat however bmw should really just call it a seat...

It's better than the stock one right enough but it seems like another extreme.

I'm considering the wunderlich one as it seems a good price.

I bought the BMW comfort heated seat for mine. I think it is great. Comfortable for long journeys and lets me sit 'in' the bike better.

Yeah that's what I currently have on it but I think it's to firm and the stock one to soft. The wunderlich sounds good but a bit of a gamble if it's no better than either. I'm going to see if returns are acceptable before purchase.

How many miles have you done on it. I've put about 8K on it so far. I have to move around on it. I find on long boring journeys i put the ESA into comfort and sit back. In the twisties i'm in sport and don't really care about the seat....

I've got a Sargeant seat on mine.

Not done enough miles in one go to offer an opinion but I'm hoping to do some training days over the next week or two in advance of a 2,500 mile European sortie next month. The training days will determine which seat I use.

I have done Europe before on the standard seat and didn't have any problems at all so I'm not sure if/how the Sergeant can be any better but the proof of the pudding etc.......
