Wunderlich up and back bar risers - problem

Tried to fit replacement bar risers to my new GS today but couldn't tighten down one of the bolts securing the left hand 'triangular' item so that it was either flush or slightly recessed from the housing; thus it projects proud of the half circular section and impedes the bars installation. Tried a shorter bolt - same problem so it seems that the recess in the original lower aluminium section is just not deep enough to accommodate the bolt. Incidentally, right hand side fits fine.

Anyone encountered this issue before and, if so, how did you resolve it?

The bolts in the kit are different sized heads, short ones go under the bars!!

Ok, thanks. I didn't initially spot that 2 of the 35mm bolts have the 'short' heads - DOH!!
