Hi there, has anyone got the above vario screen by Wunderlich? I am 6ft1 and get a fair bit of turbulence from from the stock screen even with the seat right down. Has anyone got any advice? Cheers.
Yes, it is an MRA Vario with Wunderlich brand name on it. An excellent choice of screen, some say the best for reducing/eliminating buffeting.
I'm 6'2" and the settings I found most effective were middle setting for angle and screen at highest setting gave good protection but very tiring buffeting when riding into a straight-on or 3/4 head wind as I did for 800 odd miles last summer.
The best setting for me is middle setting for angle and screen in it's lowest position. I get good protection, but no buffeting at all
Just don't confuse wind blast, (when your head is in the breeze), with buffeting, (when your head is doing a ping-pong ball in a wind tunnel impression!).
