I note that Maverick has no more stock, yet there are around 5 of us interested.

I recently enquired of Wurth - reply below, but I was put off by the tenner postage. What I was going to do next, but never got around to, was find a local garage or similar with a Wurth account/rep and ask them to order.

Does anybody have such a garage and would be prepared to order a few sets? I'm prepared to pay up-front if necessary?

Otherwise, if we can get 6 sets ordered, the cost (per set of 4 for 1100/1150) would be around £10 (that's delivered from Wurth and posted out again to individual tossers). More per set if there are fewer sets, clearly. I'll do that for money up-front, if you like?

What do you reckon? :nenau

Cheers,

Ian

Good morning Sir,

Articles 07135123 is priced at £1.51 per 1 and 07135126 is priced at £1.54 per 1. These prices don't include VAT (20%) or any delivery charges; Delivery charges in the UK are as follows; orders over £150 are free, orders under £150 are £6.96 and orders under £50 are £9.95. Unfortunately we do not sell for resale and we do not hold a list of other Wurth distributors.

If you have an account with us, please can you forward me your account number and I can check your shopping list for prices. Otherwise if you are happy with the price and you would like to place an order with us, please call the office on 02083196911 (option 2) and you can pay by credit card. Order taken before 3.30pm and as long as we have stock, you will get next day delivery. But if you would like to see a rep, please send forward your address details.

Regards

Heather Letton

Splendid chap, no great rush for me, service not due for a few thousand yet. :thumby:

On the original thread, there was a third feeler for the endfloat, which I don't want , but others may. Wurth p/n 07135120.

I have a Wurth account.

My rep is a 50 something with enormous bewbies that defy gravity for her age (not my sort of thing at all, but because of them, she's a high-flyer salesperson, so good luck to her :) , name of Julie

Just post part numbers and I can get a price :thumb2

Me definitely a full set please, (3) inlet, exhaust and cam endfloat.... :beerjug:

Set = 5 ??

Hi Cookie,
I'm also happy to purchase a set for an 1150 - but I always thought a "set" of Wurth gauges consisted of FIVE blades? 2 inlet, 2 exhaust and 1 end float, the idea being you have a feeler in BOTH inlet OR exhaust valves at the same time to eliminate any "rock" on rocker bush etc.
Anyway, if this goes ahead, put me down for a set of FIVE for an 1150.
Also, is it not possible buy/order these over the counter at a Wurth Trade Counter? It doesn't help me much as the nearest one is 90 miles away in Glasgow - but some of you guys at the busy end of the country might be better placed - could still do a group buy - but no carriage charge from Wurth?

Cheers......................Grizzly:beerjug:

I'll be up for a set too - 2 inlet and exhaust plus endfloat!

Cheers,

Adrian

Woah, slow down guys. Let's clarify again...

We have 3 sizes of feeler:

p/n 07135123, white handle, 0.15mm - inlet valve, 2 needed
p/n 07135126, yellow handle, 0.30mm - exhaust valve, 2 needed
p/n 07351120, light blue handle 0.05mm - rocker shaft endfloat, 1 needed.

So, if you want a special Wurth feeler for your endfloat (not me, a normal feeler gauge works fine here), you need all 5.
If, like me, you just want to be able to set both inlet and both exhaust valves together, with feelers that are easier to hold and manage than a normal set, then you just need the first 4.

It would be great if the guys who have Wurth reps (with or without magnificent hooters :boobies ) could price these up, including UK post and a reasonable mark-up if they have a business to run as well as making our lives easier and cheaper.

Ts & Cs would probably be payment up front, I guess - please make this clear as you don't want the hassle of non-payers or to be stuck with stock.

Does this sound reasonable or am I over-complicating it? :nenau

Set of four for me please. Thanks.

Have got a reply from Wurth, carriage only becomes "free" if the initial order is over £150. Quite happy to get as many sets as needed (plus a couple for stock)
I have to order fixings etc for work, so can make the order value up that way

UNLESS fannykins is already on the case
