To all UK 2VALVE GS Owners and Fanatics

There seems to be a lot of interest from the part of AIRHEAD UK GSers for the 2012 Tenting Weekend from the GS-AIRHEADS in Summer 2012. The dates will be anounced early october but it will be a weekend end July/early August 2012. We expect possibly 100 Twin Valve GS Bikers from Benelux countries, Germany, France and the UK. So it will be an International 2V GS do ! The program is not fixed, but will be in brief lines as follows:
- possibility to arrive on Friday afternoon (for those who want) , Free Camping will be provided on private Grass and Woodlands by the GS-Airheads Belgium - others arrive on Saturday.
- Saturday: 16 - 18 hrs : GS Trial on 100 square meters, 1st gear trial (no foot on the ground) , Bottle :jager of Cava for every contender with ZERO Penalty, winner will be the one with best time. 5 Jury members required (Bob from Belgium, John le Africain from Holland, Benoit from France and Axel from Germany and we need a Jury member from England, who is candidate ?)- Saturday: 18-19 hours : 20 Free bottles of Cava offered by GS-Airheads Belgium
- Saturday 19-21 hours : Big Barbeque "Belgium delight" (everybody pays a moderate fee, we do not want profit)
- Saturday 21 hours - 2AM : Truckload of Belgium Beers (available at purchase cost):beerjug:
- Sunday 8AM - 10AM: Freds' Bacon 'n' Eggs Breakfast- Sunday 10 AM: GS ride in Belgium "Pays des Colinnes" organised by Eric, long time 2V GS-Rider and Motor Copper with Belgium Police Force. Will include some light off-road through Flanders and Walloon landscapes, some stops to Belgium pubs of course. At 4PM English riders can leave direction Calais Ferries/Tunnel or Zeebrugge Ferries (from there to Calais: 130 km ,from there to Zeebrugge 80 km)

Finally, we would be pleased if UK 2V GSers would like to join our club as a member. Have a look at www.gs-airheads.be . Look at "We are GS-Airheads". If you like to join we need your name (full name) , year of birth and a 3 to 4 liner write-up about yourself and your relationship to the 2V GS. And a picture of you with the Bike. It cost you nothing, just buy a T-Shirt when you come to a future event of the GS-Airheads, but no obligation. With the next revamp of the website we will delete "BELGIUM" from the clubname. We just want to be the GS-Airheads and an International Club for 2V GS-ers. Look forward to hear from you and you can reach us at [email protected]

cheers, danny

Hi there jackass, you (and everybody expressing his interest in this International Airhead GS do) , will receive an official invite 2 months before the do. We will ask 1 UK 2V GS-er to organise a get together point (Ashford?Folkstone?) for the UK 2V GS-er, to make the channel crossing in 1 Group. If required we will sent 2 bikes to Calais or Zeebrugge to escort the UK 2V GS-Group in...Cheers Jackass good luck finding the bike, also remember our Belgium members might be able to help you if you have problems tracing one in the UK, just shout mate. Grtz Danny

+1 here. I should never have sold my PD Classic to Devon. But I'm over in Jersey again soon and there still exists a few of my old G/Ss over there so I should be able to obtain another one before next year.

Not everyone agrees with that point of view :augie:D:D:D

Hi there Jackass Dave and Crapaud, if you are not lucky to find a G/S or GS Airhead in UK, maybe some of the GS-Airheads Member can help you, some members have several G/S or GS, and might wish to sale one. Prices in Belgium are same level as in UK, so if you need help shout.
