I am still running in my new 650 X-Challenge

The back brake is starting to make a loud screaching noise and two of my friends with the same bikes have the same problem

Does anybody know why the disc brake is so noisy and what can be done to sort it out

3 new model bikes with identical failures.
Either poor design,manufacturing fault or faulty batch of materials.
What does the BWM dealer say?.

Noise is vibration!
Try painting a thin coat of anti-sieze grease on the rear of the pad back plate.

I agree Noise is vibration, the bike is going for first service on wednesday and will ask the technicians

I am sure other user have complained already

Other than this I am extremely happy with the bike, I also have a 1200GSA and 250 EXC-F KTM and a BETA trials bike.

I just love the handling of the 650 offroad

I am actually selling my KTM as there is little need for it now
