Bike booked in for MOT tomorrow afternoon. Existing battery was flat and wouldn't hold a charge so put a new battery in it last weekend and it fired up and all seemed fine. Gave it a wash and put it back in the garage.
Went out this evening and started it up, now the ABS light is flashing. Not sure if the light was flashing when I put it away last weekend.

Any thoughts or quick fixes?

Is there a way of turning OFF the ABS light permanently?

TIA
Paul

the abs flashes until you have reached 5km/h or so.
always good to have a look at the plugs/pins in case of corrosion

Thanks for the responses.
I did have a 1200GS and the ABS light flashed until 5km/h or so. I didn't think the X Country was the same.
I've only had it a year now and never noticed doh...:blast:blast
