Got a puncture today, and hope to take the front wheel out tomorrow.never done it before and just wondering if there are any tips/things to be aware of.Thought i'd ask before I break something rather than after.Thnx guys.

pretty easy to remove just loosen the pinch bolts from the fork first then just take note which side the spacer goes. would take a picture then you can see exactly how it goes. on some wheels you have to take the front caliper off before the wheel will come off i'm not too sure if you will need to do that just try without first.

Torque everything back up to the correct torque values when you put it back together. don't over tighten the pinch bolts on the fork legs.

Also, where do I find the correct torque values? Is there a online resource somewhere?

Take a look in the little owners book that came with the bike. Should all be in there.

Cant find that at the mo. but have just found the full details on "manuals lib". looks good.

I'm going in! Thanks chaps.

Tips I got from Bas & Hyperpro.....

Tighten the pinch bolts on the nut side fork tube first. Then vigorously depress the front suspension a few times (with front brake applied obviously) before tightening the pinch bolts on the opposite side. This allows the fork/axles to 'settle'!

Also, make sure that the holes in the axle (other side from the nut) are such that they are parallel with the ground when you have finished torquing the axle nut so that air can pass straight through. Easy enough to do using an Allen key or small screwdriver. This prevents some whistling noise. Never heard it myself but I do what I'm told by people who should know.
