X country gear lever

There was talk about it being too brittle/or maybe to hard and not bending and that it could cause a lot of damage if the bike is dropped.
I think the recommendation was to buy a different gear peddle. But which one? And wouldn't that apply to the back brake peddle too?

Folds rather than breaking the shaft

Interesting choice

I had the 200 - £/smile the best value bike I've ever had.

The 4 is more versatile IMHO. A mate runs one in MCC events and goes well on it. Another used his for touring.
