I bought a 2007 model almost by accident in the Autumn - was looking for a lighter bike for my wife. She loves it, and I love it. Good luck finding one.

Was Timolgra toying with the idea of selling his XC?

Initially i think these bikes were pitched to compete against ktm's 690's, but the ktm's had a better spec for the same money.

Which was a shame, they are good bikes, but i think BMW could have tried a little harder with developing them

It was my wife's bike, after 200 miles she hated it and sold it last week.
BMW need to go to Specsavers if they pitched against a KTM 690!!

..... now she's very, very happy

Try motorworks, they get one or two in for repair.
There is a place in Bradford that gets the unwanted BMW from dealers.

Normally, there are a couple of X country's for sale at any one time, it's just a bit of bad luck for you at the moment but the right bike will turn up soon.
