Did you ever get one in the end? There was a cheap one (£2,200) on ebay a few weeks ago. The fact that the buyer had a mountain of spare and said that it was a bit tatty put me off somewhat.

Instead I bought the only other one I know of for sale. Rode her back up Norwich this weekend.

Needs about £1000 worth of mods to be absolutely perfect, but the difference in agility is night and day compared to my old Dakar.

I've been trying to get in touch with Phil-H from these forums. I'm wondering if this bike used to be his.

Definately not Phil-H's bike. That one is now in The Netherlands and is my wifes ride.

I thought it might have been as I saw part of his number plate which started HK57 the same as mine. So the bikes must have been bought in the same region of the country.

Norway last year, decending into Geiranger Fjord. The picture is half way down and we'd just come from the top of the mountain behind. Thats why she was so happy.
