Took the Xc to Geoff at hilltop today as the low speed fuelling didn't seem what it should. I have a k&n filter and Leo exhaust with a homemade baffle to quieten it down. Didn't pick up any peak HP or peak torque, but got massive gains in both below 4000, nearly three times as much for the given revs, this has made a pretty big difference riding it, specially at low speed work. The other noticeable thing is the reduction in vibration through the seat, bars and footrests, this has made it a lot nicer to ride.
Overall I'm pleased, will keep an eye on the mpg and report back.

I've had my G650 X Country to Geoff. Graphs etc on the Hilltop thread, but suffice to say it made it a different 'bike :thumb

K&N filter, full Akro Titainium exhaust etc much more pleasant in towns pottering along, picks up and goes like stink :D

Much much smoother ...

Had my X Country done too.
Great job I'd highly recommend it. Bike much smoother and improves throttle response in every gear. Slight improvement in mpg too.

Ride the challenge into work this morning on its regular route and the difference in traffic was amazing, no doubt now money well spent.

Sounds good - do you mind if I ask how much the remap set you back?

Four of us got a deal and went down for the day, if I remember correctly £225.00 each

Not cheap .... but yet it was money well spent and worth every penny in my book :thumb
