XChallenge - Kahedo Seats, anyone got one?

JB, Go for the Tony Archer job, had mine done recently, £60 posted, much more comfort now:thumb2

Johnny,

Fozzy has just ordered one from Kahedo and it will be back here in the next week or so. I have a Tony Archer modded seat. Will post a comparison when we can get them side by side and after a few miles.

Blimey Johnny - are you collecting seats for your X-Challenge..... you must be up to 4 by now:D

Yep................you're right

2 Blue High (one with bike)

1 Black High

1 Black Low

Never paid more than £20 for one though:augie

Can reccomend Tony Archer, mines an Archer seat done by the previous owner, was comfy on the Portugal trip and if its only about £80 gotta be worth it:thumb2 compared to £200:blast

Ill try and take one later today but bike still hasnt been touched since Portugal, looks exactly like standard, seat is in black and grey, i think it has had the gel pads put in:thumb2

There ya go :thumb

Fozzy got his Kahedo seat back this week. Can't deny the quality but it's still a plank. I've only ridden a few miles on it but the archer seat is alot more comfortable and also a helluva lot cheaper. The main advantage of the archer seat is that it is wider at the back for when you're sitting down, yet is still slim at the front for when you're on the pegs.

I know Colebatch uses a Rayz Saddle seat which looks very similar to the archer seat. IIRC these are around 400 euros though!

Has anyone got photo's of a Tony Archer seat, and is there any more news on the Kahedo offering?

I've tried one of Rayz seats, and i have to say, it felt like it was worth every penny (compared to the standard offering), but i would be interested to try a Tony Archer seat and/or kahedo before deciding where to put my money.

why so many seats

i think best get decent foam and get upholster fit it in for you

getting the comfy foam hard bit

that or you must have a larger posterior and wear themout alot.....:)

Not at all. I really don't get on with the standard seat, in fact i hate it with a passion.

I think BMW originally designed it as a torture device, which the finance department decided might also look good on top of the bike. :blast

And if things go to plan, i will have a lot of miles to cover this summer :thumb2
