XChallenge or XCountry??

Well, I've just set out to try my x-challenge which i've had for 3 months now and I can honestly say I will probably be looking for an X-Cross soon That or an aftermarket shock to bring the seat hieght down from about six foot

Just been looking at the XChallenge in the garage, to see which accessories are interchangeable with the XCountry......................quite a bit

Maybe a slippery slope

i bought the low seat optional part from bmw as i got sick of dropping it [falling off ] when @ 2 mph (i'm 6'1" ffs) it helps a lot but its no comfier
, i am working with the original seat base that ive stripped down to fabricate a very low cushy wide seat using polymorph to mould a 'base' i'll keep you all posted, i'm in the "foam covering testing for comfort" stage will take/post pics if you want...

I'll remember that, it would be the ones on the bike, specifically the 2 rad panels as those are the only duplicates I have

Hopefully my Xcountry is comeing today..

I can't wait to get out and about.

Took a bit of a gamble as I bought the bike unseen and although I've ridden many 650 singles I've never actually ridden the XCountry.

I've really enjoyed the other 650 singles I've ridden so I can't see any reason I wouldn't like this one,plus I've been hankering after a XCountry for a couple of years now.

Well mine didn't turn up yesterday and I've got a free day today

But I did order a Puig mini sport touring screen for it,which at £25.95 delivered isn't going to break the bank and is slightly cheaper than the OEM fly screen at £181

So lets see if it turns up today
