xchallenge wheel rebuild

Anyone replaced the OEM rim on the front wheeel yet? What rims are possible to use? Talon dont know whether the holes are drilled at the right angle for the BMW.

I have flat spot on one side which has loosened two spokes. Assuming that I need a rebuild. OEM rim from BMW is £180!

According to the TT catalogue, Excell rims are available for the BM hubs

I too noticed that TT have excel rims on the G650 hubs. Presumably these are not specials so hopefully they do fit. Thanks.

Oops I have just dismantled the wheel only to discover that a wheel builder needs to know the offset of the rim from the hub.

Can anyone help an give me a measurement using a straight edge across the hub out to the rim and take a measurement between the straight edge and the top outer most part of the rim. Preferably if you can do it both sides one from the disc the other from the hub?
