XChallenge

+1 for the saddle bags, great piece of kit and usable on other bikes
I also use the side stand to get on the bike. Getting off is a lottery...

More pics of Dirtbagz and Frames on my XC along with the large TT rack and pack. Red bag from some camping shop.

Got them from those nice gentlemen at Adventure-Spec

Hi John

I obtained the CD Rom workshop manual for the X Country you sold me last year on T,internet

All the maintainence seems pretty straightforward without special tools

Ive completed a couple of jobs without problems

Most helpful are all the torque settings

Enjoy the new wheels

Frank

Cheers Frank, You know, I should have kept that bike,:blast didn`t have it long enough to appreciate it, such is life. Is your boy riding it?

Im still waiting

for the youngest lad to get his ass in gear and sort his direct access.

Ive been using it when I go out solo and explore the backlanes round here.

A totally underrated bike.light and flickable, The rotax engine thumps beyond expectation ,never dropped below 70mpg yet, oh and the abs works!!!

The only thing I have added so far is the Hepco and Becker mainstand ,so much easier for chain lube and wheel removal.

Bahnstormer completed all the recalls for free inc a new battery.

Worth checking whether there are any outstanding on your new bike
Not bad service for its age (4yrs) All they had to do was check on the BM computer to see whether it was up to date See the recall sticky in this section.

The other thing I learnt from the cd rom was for short asses like me the front forks and rear shock can be adjusted to compensate

Regards Frank :)

Result!
Have to get into my local dealer and see what they say about any recalls, mine has only 4K odd miles on and hasn`t seen a dealer in a while:rolleyes: replaced the brake fluid etc earlier this week. Mine does not have the optional ABS, but as its an 'off road' bike I`m happy with that, did an involuntary 'stoppy' the day I picked it up, when a white van suddenly did a U turn in front of me, just as I was lining up for an overtake, so I also know the brakes work!:D
