The XCo is coming together, so I took the long way around to my fabricator in Basingstoke, through the lanes and villages of north Hampshire. The lanes are covered in wet leaves so no pedal scraping today but the XCo is even more sure footed with the new Yacugar rear shock and front progressive springs. Really getting to feel at one with this bike and I tend to reach for it now for these short trips. I do hope to take it on a much longer trip next year, hence the farkles. The fabricator is working on a frame for my Acerbis 5L tank, which at the moment sits in the right hand Dirtbagz pannier.

Anyway, some scenes in from the short autumn ride.

Looks good. One day I'll have mine.:comfort

JB, it's the Isotta screen from the Bay and the bag is a small TT one, which fits quite well.

Yes, they're super bikes. I'm pretty new to them, not like yourself, but I'm a real convert and it's a keeper. I'll not part with the 1200GS though, which for my ride down to Turkey this year was ideal. However, for a trip with little motorway then the XCo is just the job. I hope to test it out on a long trip south next year.

Many thanks, I've got the BMW screen and it works well

Bash plate

Got the great bash plate from Mikeyboy of this parish. Really chunky and well made. I think it may have been his last... Looks the biz powercoated of course.

I took off an XCh bash plate to fit this, which is spare in the garage...
