I enquired about the above bike from a dealer a few weeks ago. A red mark came up against in a hpi check to check mileage! Also it had no service history and a lot of past owners. Of course the mileage may now be verified......

On a hpi does it tell you what the milage should show ?
Afraid it doesn't. The seller told me the only way to verify the mileage was for the DVA to write to all previous owners and ask odometer reading when they had it. 3 weeks ago the seller told me he was going to do this. So to be fair he may have done that. Number of owners a missing service history with lack of mileage confirmation just made me think twice.

I'm on my third clock, the bmw dealer wasn't able to scrape any genuine odo's of it and ommitted to write down what might have been readable prior to the exchange.
Just saying, my machine if sold, would be out by several thousan Km too.

Same here. Change of clocks at 4k.
HPI (and V5) list it as a white xMoto (which they never made), I just go by the BMW frame check which clearly shows it's an xCountry.
