Xcounty v xchallenge sprocket

Spent a little time looking for a 17t front sprocket online yesterday but without success.

So call me lazy or stupid but has anybody got a link or something. :blast

And yes i have looked on demontweeks and talon :nenau even used the search.

:beerjug:

Pick up the phone and phone Talon,
they have them but may not list them on the website unlike more popular bikes.

Thanks for the reminder. Need to get this sorted along with a few other bits for the next faze of tweaking the bike. I will give them a call. Renthal 17 t seem to be readily available for around £13

Today I went to replace my still original front sprocket on an Xchallenge.
The new one I had was ordered from Scheffelmeier and is a 16 tooth, but it wasn't as tight on the splines as the OEM one.

Call this paranoia, but after feeling how (even a used!) OEM sprocket sits on the shaft, I can't settle on anything less.
I'm sure it would be fine, but will probably order the 16 tooth from a Xmoto/Xcountry and see how it performs.

Do you guys feel the increased freeplay with non oem sprockets?
If not, is there a brand which also gives a very tight fit?

Talon are ok

However if you want a 16T, just fit the BMW XCountry one

I have a XChallenge BMW 15T on my XCountry now and it's fine

I may go to a 49T on the back too
