was doing the route for that day,(and a lot of others ) so not 100 % sure and the map i've got for that area is not detailed enough for me to confirm,
But we was in the Telmark area and on our secound day we took a de tour to Rjukan which is just below the Hardanger plato i believe

i'll be back with a answer soon.

oh the views in your country are so wonderful, when the ferry re opens again
i'll be coming back

Nope , further south than that I reckon .

My knowledge of Norway is obviously not as good as yours of course Liv but judging by the terrain , the size of the road and the direction of the sun I reckon that he's travelling east from Lysebotn on an unclassified road north of Sirdal heading towards Rv9.

That's my best guess anyhow

Went to hammerfest once in January now that was COLD !!!
But I was a wuss, and kept inside as much as possible, certainly NO camping.

just sell the land rovers ................because thats real compensating !!and buy a real machine like the above.

anyway, i do think it would be a great idea for a venue....camping out Like our friends do in Norway...but alass the are a few people i've meet on here whom would rather turn up in the car and stay in a B&B

Best biking country I have had the pleasure of visiting ...Breath taking scenery and lovely friendly people

All of us on that trip fell in love with Norway and will defo be coming back ...But as Terry mentoined its not so easy now as the Ferry from the North east has shut down

The photos are on the way back up from Lysbotn that road down is mind blowing Had a look but can't find the name but as you ride back up the hairpin rd you get to a T junction and turn left over the top of the mountains ...The road had only opened the week before due to snow closure and ends up in Sirdal...we stayed in Kongsberg that evening and thats the reason I'm bike less at the moment Mrs Pip gave me a holiday treat and it seems my little lad was made in Norway
