Xmas run

Thanks Rdover & GC - 2:

The second set of pics are at the Lochy Bar, Fort William.

Luckily, Rdover had his GPS programmed, or we wouldn't have found it.

Great place, excellent food and a nice atmosphere, even if you are wearing wet riding gear.

Thanks Gordon - must pay you another visit sometime soon.

No bike pics . . . . Well, it was wet and you have seen them all before !

One last run in 2006 on Sunday 31st . . Then the 2007 season starts on 6th Jan at Blair Atholl ! :bounce1

Happy New Year everyone. :thumb

Voyager.
(I'll wash the bike tomorrow - promise)

Great pics once again G.C. you really capture the mood of the weather, it looks Baltic

Loch Laggan looks amazing with the ice but that last shot, ... what a cracker :beerjug:

Yogi . . .

So what happened to you, thought you were heading straight for lunch ?

Aye well......;)

You know how it is, I got up to put the heating on and decided that
I'd just stay under my 15 tog duvet for another few hours...:nenau

Respect to you Hardcore Lot:bow

Well done to those who braved the elements! Wish I'd gone, but Oonyack would have slowed me down...
Sure it was worth the ride, the reward being a good Lochy lunch! Great food!!:clap

Did anyone notice that Arcboutant shaves his legs as well as his heed:ymca :D

I ken he's a wee guy but he let me try his kilt on in G.C.'S bogs

And here I am in the shop at the Green Welly, still wearing it!

Fixed it...:thumb

Oonyack, yer miming's terrible

Hope you get your bike back on the road soon, Martin, I could sense that Mrs P would rather have arrived on two wheel than in four.....
Kaycee

Yer dead right mate, but she's a bit of a wimp when it comes to the cold weather.
(Who am I kidding so am I).

Good to meet up with you and everyone else again. Hopefully next time I will be on 2 wheels.

Cheers

Martin

I got back to Glasgow about 4.20. It was a bit nippy on Rannoch Moor but further south it was fine.

Total 275 miles and 1 very fine lunch (thanks GC) I suspect the Lochy will become a regular stop.

I passed someone on a silver VW at the green welly who kindly waved to me, was that a Tosser in a box?

Now all I have to do is clean the house, wash the bike, put the Power Ranger suit in the machine for its annual wash, walk the dog and then I can settle in for an afternoon's crappy telly and a beer. Sorted:thumb

Thanks again everyone, hopefully next time the roads will be a little less greasy.

Ricihard

PS Brian ...... if you're out there ..... register yerself then get a decent bike :bounce1 :bounce1 :beerjug:

Aldy,

Time you put in an appearance - can you drag yourself away from the shop on 6th Jan for a meet at Blair Atholl ?

Glad you are keeping in touch :thumb

When is the next BMW Club N/E Section ride-out ? must check the web site again. :bounce1
