Y piece removal

Hi Guys,
Are there any consumable seals between cylinder and downpipe which would need to be replaced during the removal and refitting of the Y piece?
I don't want to take it off without first having bought any required parts before hand.

Did you remove the old ones though? Mine stayed in place when I removed the headers and had to pry them out with a screwdriver to replace them. To be hoenst they did not need replacing, but I had them so did.

Nope - changed the headers and took the bike out for a spin. When I came back, tried the old "hand over the exhaust" trick - the bike stalled, so no leaks - good enough for me
