And therein lies the problem

Mmm looks very purposefull. Nice :thumb

As long as it's better than the 750 which IMHO was sh*te!!!!

And therein lies the problem - modern bikes are all about marketing bullshit

Anybody who spends 13k on that is mentally ill

My proper XTZ750 Super Tenere went the length of Africa with me down to Cape Town in 1995, 2 up without a single thing going wrong, no change of spark plugs or oil or nothing. About 15k miles over a year, 2 up, it was a ferkin brilliant bike.

Then it went out to the Middle East with me for work for 5 years , not a single bit of maintenance in that entire time other than changing tyres, used to do 90mph on the beach, get the needle bouncing off the red bit of the temp guage in dunes of the Wahiba Sands and nothing ever went wrong with the bike.

Ace bikes the old Super Tenere, hard as nails mine was :rob . That new thing isn't deserving of the name, overweight pile of expensive, complicated shite that it is.

Oh, and hello Scotland
