Yellow main bearing shells

Has anyone got a set of yellow coded main bearing shells for my crankshaft on a bmw r1150gs adventure 2005. They have been discontinued and im struggling with the engine rebuild. Obviously willing to pay. Thanks

Learned a few years back that discontinued in bmw spares parlance does not necessarily mean not available, I checked on some parts and they were still floating around in the system even though shown as discontinued.
It means if the dealership gets them in stock for you they must be paid for in advance and are non returnable to bmw

Motorad and a large French supplier have both told me they can't get them aswell as all uk supplies

you need to do some measuring , and comparing , to see what else those bearings fit .
BMW won't be the only people using a particular size.
go find a firm that recon engines , they will have some really thick books of parts...

I bought yellow one in november 2024. They are not available at the moment. Before you buy something double check that bearing surface is perfectly round, otherwise is better to go +0.25.
