Yellow road on map, Black line on Topo

Good afternoon

As I have previously mentioned in my last post I'm taking a few days out of a tour of Spain to enjoy the delights of morocco. I'm riding a GS and my mate is on a VFR, so tarmac preferred.
On the Michelin 742 it shows some routes as yellow secondary roads but on the Marokko-Topo map it is shown as a black line, for example coming east out of casablanca on the P 3305 a few miles out you hit the P 3326, black line on Topo, yellow on map. Do I plan the route with the map or use the Topo and use the prefix P as a primary route.

dunno mate but if you pm Tim Cullis he knows everything about Maroc, I read his post and drool.

Many roads in MarocTopo don't have road numbers attached. If you are heading P3326 > R305 > R404 then it's a lovely road, especially by the gorge, and from there you could keep heading east and south east coming out near Mrirt.

Avoid the Phosphates mining area around Khouribga.
