Anyone fancy a little trip to Littlehampton via Burry Hill this Sunday - STW of course.

Meet at Newlands Corner off the A25 around 11-11.30 ish ........
Go to Vines of Guildford for some Hog Roast (they have an open day).......... :thumb .........then ride to Littlehampton for an ice cream......via Bury for a toilet-tea stop.

Might be my very last Sunday bimble for a while-certainly my last of the South East..:(..then I’ll be swopping my allegiance to the South West area threads....so will be doing more green laning and meeting up with you lot half way around Salisbury...:thumb..but not before joining up with some lads from the North West area for a few weeks...it’s a little complicated....

Cap'n,

If I don't see you before you leave this neck of the woods, I'll say thanks for the rides , hope the move goes well.

I have sampled the plain and I'll be happy to join you down there once in a while - when you have got the hang of this off-road stuff.. :D

Pity, I was up for a spin (first time since the plain) now that my ankle's back to normal. :blast

Thanks for organising some great days.

A mate took me on a run to Broadway Tower (just off the A44 near Evesham) some time back which I've been meaning to repeat. There's a nice cafe/restaurant there that did good food too.

Check out the link... http://www.broadway-cotswolds.co.uk/tower.html

We managed to do there and back in a day but cannot for the life of me remember which way he took to get there but it was a great run.

Might be a good one to do!?

There is this fantastic East Devon coastal town with stunning cliffs, beaches and has this awesome delicatessen were you can buy lots of wonderful local and continental produce ......... make sure you take the panniers and load them up with shopping, don't forget to bring your credit card ........ wait until I've signed the lease though before arranging to visit .............. :augie

Good call Haggis. I know the area pretty well. Some fantastic roads and great places to visit. Normally takes me just under 2 hours to get to Stow.:thumb2

Any handy campsite for an overnight stay? Down on the Saturday and a slow, heavily loaded journey back with full panniers and top box on the Sunday!!:D
