Hi folks,

it is time for new boots. I am looking at Daytona Bandit XCR at the moment as I have seen some good reviews (and as I need European size 48/49, my choice is fairly limited).

Supposedly totally waterproof but cool on hot summer days.

Anyone here had any experience with them?

Rob

No, but as an alternative I just bought a set of TCX Infinity boots from https://www.polo-motorrad.de/en/infinity-stiefel.html for £136 shipped, they're £220 in the shops here.

Got the Bandits in 48, and they are absolutely the muts nuts.

Have been driving through Germany in 35 degrees and even though the boots are stable and secure and very "safe" feeling, my feet have not been roasting.

Need to do a few more thousand miles in them, but I'm well impressed so far!

they look the same as my Hein Geriche boots, goretex lined took a bit of breaking in but know so comfy only ever failed in biblical rain otherwise fine

TCX, BMW and HG all basically have the same boot. I bought the HG version (cause it was nearer) They are great, the best all round touring boot I've had. Snug and dry in the winter but maybe too warm for the summer, but I've got summer boots for that:thumb
