I was reading this review........http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?t=183854

and decided to search one out (not that I actually need a one man tent at the mo' )

Its £24.44 on the UK version of the Argos site http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/s...gId=1500001501&langId=-1&productId=1500345779
but €74.79 on the Irish site http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stor...501&langId=-1&searchTerms=3400779&Submit=GO+>

Now all the Irish Argos shops are stocked from the same UK logistics centre - as far as I know......:nenau....so are we over here just patsies to be taken for a ride? Should we not be able to avail of the same said special offers? Is this another example of "charge what the market will accept..."

Not on, in my book. If only I needed one..........I feel up for a fight in my local Argos :headbat

The answer would be to get one north of the border :thumb2

As for going into argos and arguing with people who work there, more likely to get a response in a graveyard:augie

did u try to buy it on the UK site?

JJ

Nah...as I said, I don't even need one...though at £25 its well worth having. It just pisses me off to see profiteering of this sort, and I thought that for anyone who might be thinking of one, (especially as its recently been reviewed on the forum) it was worth pointing out. We hear so much shite from our politicians about buying in Ireland and yet this sort of thing openly exists (though its questionable as to how much of the sales in Argos down here actually benefit the country in any way other than wages - do they source any products here?). :aidan
