Along with oil this is a "popular" topic I know! 09 GSA single cam for reference.
I've read and followed all the various threads about them. I did try the float conversion with repinning/coding but it didn't really work for me as seemed to get half way then jump about a bit work an unrealistic range. Pinned it back and then tried a Probeemer converter but much the same.
Decided to splash out and get the Spanish fuel sensor as heard lots of positive things about it. But yet again it's not worked for me! I must of killed an Albatross whilst at sea in a previous life.
I fitted it as per instructions but can't calibrate it. The bike has had no fault codes for ages, fitted this and it's come up with 41778: Tank sensor heating element malfunction. It's a code GS911 or Motoscan can't clear so it seems I'm stuffed!
I've checked for continuity from the ECU plugs to the 4 pin connector on the fuel pump unit and they're OK. I'm getting 11.5v at the green with purple trace wire, continuity from the pins passing through the fuel pump unit.
Has anyone else had the 41788 issue and found out what it was/is?
