Was fortunate to get the chance to ride this little beauty today, it's a Basic which has nearly 100K under its wheels and is used regularly by its owner with 15k this year alone.

Current engine came from Siebenrock as a complete unit, not your average jobbie I can tell you, its mated to one of their full exhaust systems which includes headers and link pipe and running Dellorto carbs. Ohlins front and rear, the front forks are the latest addition, a completely custom job the forks being supplied and set up for the bike by Pro-Link Racing Suspension fitted to a one of set of cnc machined yolks the owner had made up by a local machine shop which also included bar clamps for a set of Renthal Fat Bars. :drool

Nothing like a Scooby to drain the bank balance. You wait until something goes wrong (and it will) It took Subaru weeks to find the fault on my Forester ££££ :D
 
Lose the dorky indicators, headlamp shroud and hanguards then it'll start to look right:thumb
 
I hate to be the one to say this but I prefer the looks of a standard basic. This bikes lost the point completely. Cosmetically it doesn't work either.

Looks nicely done though.

I agree and would need a good dose of Viagara to consider it airhead porn, in addition to my earlier comment after looking again, that standard rear mudguard...jeez, it's needs to be be smaller like a dirt bike's.


AND:D....if the Dellorto carbs are an improvement, why not use them on the 1100 instead of the old Bings or am I missing something?:augie
