As per the feedback, my bike now has a new and oiled air cleaner. Thanks for drawing my attention to this chaps.

Good stuff
To dry/out soak in etc otherwise it affects the fuelling as the air sensors give a too rich a reading
I always leave mine for 24-36 after oiling, before re-fitting
Some stats from the ride
Test ride today with the new and oiled filter, what a difference, I'm too embarrassed to say how big a difference
