The routes

Stage one: Leeds – Harewood – Otley – Ilkley – Skipton – Kettlewell – Aysgarth – Hawes – Reeth – Leyburn – Ripon – Harrogate.

Stage two: York – Knaresborough – Silsden – Keighley – Haworth – Hebden Bridge – Elland – Huddersfield – Holmfirth – Sheffield.

Stage three: Cambridge – Epping Forest – the Olympic Park – the Mall.

Went to the evening launch tonight.

TBH it was shite. Poor sound and z list celebs

It did give me an excuse to retire early to the Town Hall Tavern

I hope the real thing is slightly better organised.

Me too, we left at 6.50, just before thew fireworks. I hope it didn't go any further than Calender or Look North. A poor start sadly, the event will be brilliant though.

I'm pleased the tours coming for the cycling fans, but When I drive in the Alps and Pyrenees I'm annoyed by the Graffiti sprayed on the roads and rocks on every bend or climb
I don't expect to see come on Lance much this year.
