I received the following by email from AJ today and thought it might be of interest... 
Emergency Blood Transportation - GET INVOLVED
On Sunday 15th September 2013, Allan Jefferies BMW will play host to both The White Knights (Yorkshire Group) and the North West Blood Bikes (Lancashire and Lakes Group). These and many other volunteer groups assist the Health Services up and down the country transporting vital blood supplies to those in urgent need, helping to save lives each and every day.
Both groups will be here on the day, and there will be talks from each of the groups telling you a little more about what they do and how they operate. They are always on the look out for new people to come along and get involved. This is a very rewarding and important way to donate some of your free time, so what could be better, get out for a ride and do something worthwhile at the same time.
The day will begin at our Baildon Showroom at 11am, there will be some of the current Blood Bikers around, so have a chat, see what they do and how easy it is to get involved.
A £2 donation to the Blood Bike Charity will get you a bacon sandwich and a drink, as well as entry into a raffle to win a brand new BMW System 6 Helmet (please RSVP to [email protected] for catering purposes).
Bobby Ball (of Cannon and Ball Fame) is a Patron and will be here to help promote this very worthy cause and the selfless bikers who give their time to transport blood.
The raffle will be drawn at 12.30pm, and then you will be free to go off and enjoy a lovely Sunday ride out, wherever you may be heading.
We really hope you can come along and support this great charity, if not with your time, perhaps you can assist with a charitable donation instead.
