You all told me.....

Had a carbon levo for weekend the yam sport motor in the trance is nicer plus they are 1k under spec of any other manufacturer ie cheaper shocks, forks wheels etc... plus manager told me mess with it ie deristrict and your warranty is gone... no question

Tubeless is great until you're miles in to the hills and the tyre comes off the rim :blast

I went tubeless and pounded the hell out of my Cube on some serious downhill runs in the Alps and never had a problem. :nenau

If you want the GS of eBikes you need this bad boy: https://www.haibike.com/gb/en/ebikes/emountainbikes/enduro/xduro-nduro-100-gb859?id=4541138942

The law says eBikes must be limited to 250watt motors and only offer assistance to peddling up-to 25kph - What they don’t specify is the torque.

The Brose motor in the Levo is 90NM when the others are 70-80 but the Haibike has 120NM!

Wow! 28 kgs!

And a total maximum weight of 120kgs. Counts me right out! :D

Nice bike though. :thumb2

Well said sir, he had done as you instructed, he could have used the £700 towards a Levo

As said, the Levo has inferior parts, compared to the Cube.;)

You all know why I got the hybrid, Arsey especially, so it wasn’t a waste of money.

Am preferring the hybrid style. Wonder if any peeps have heard of the Merlin Corratec?

Not quite - Specialist dealers can set the wheel circumference to 2000mm and that does not effect the warranty

There’s a reason the Levo's gained a good reputation the the next generation frame and motor in the 2019 model gained the results in test that it did - I’ve now done 2800 KMs on mine and it’s been great

The spec certainly is not £4£ as good as other eBikes at the same price point, but after getting a good discount that gap closes. Also at my age some of that might be lost on me (maybe not in the past when full XTR or Durace was my requirement). The thing with a 2019 Carbon Comp is you can get those at a good price and it has the frame and motor of the top spec 2020 Levo.

What has your real life experience got to do with this :D

I'd be very interested to know how these motors and batteries cope with a wet muddy British winter. When we used to ride at nights in the winter we'd come back absolutely minging and the bikes were as bad, so how would that fit in with all the lecky stuff cause every video I've watched so far has been in bone dry conditions.

Read this quote elsewhere online....

I’m told by a ebike motor repair specialist that they have seen more Brose, Shimano and Yamaha motors with problems than Bosch.

Most of the time the problem appears to be water getting into the motor either through riding through a lot of slop or over enthusiastic washing or both. It might be a good idea to not wash around the motor at all, let the mud dry off and then carefully brush. I wonder if motors last longer in dryer climates than the U.K.?

Sealed motor you were all saying :blast
