Just ordered one of these, Cube stereo hybrid 160 HPC SL 625

Cant understand why they dont come with pedals though ????

Looked around for a while before deciding and for the money it is regarded as the one to have with bigger battery,suspension travel and components

Did look at buying second hand but the cost of replacement parts and issues some bikes are having it made sense to buy new as there is no warranty on second hand so you could easily get close to new bike price if you need to replace battery or motor.

What tools and bits are people carrying when out on the trails ?

I nearly went for that one, but the guys at Farnham talked me out of it, and said that unless you're doing big off-road jumps etc, the 140 is the better all rounder. I prefer the colour display of the Kiox as well.

I take a spare tube, tyre levers and pump with me on all rides, on and off road. However, I have installed both Slime Tubes and the excellent but very heavy Schwalbe Marathon Plus MTB tyres which are as puncture proof as you can get.

Nutty - are you using regular Training Shoes with those platform pedals? If so, this would pull on your back as well. Good cycling shoes are very worth while and I would recommend a clip in pedal as well.

Did think of going for the 140 but mates who have them regularly bottom out the 140 and advised me to go for the 160, Yes i do like the Kiox and has a lot more features.

EMTB mode chooses an assist level anywhere within the full range from Eco to Turbo, so it doesn't simply switch between the standard pre selected modes, it can be anywhere in-between and give you assistance levels that you can't preselect manually.

And don't forget 'Walk Assist' mode when you are pushing it up a really steep section. I use it when pushing my bike up a flight of stairs at work, where I park it. Saves you from having to push the full weight of the bike.

Not sure if the Levo Ladies have this function?

He’d have to carry out a full risk assessment before attempting to get past the hazard and the first step would be to ask can the hazard be removed? Carry a saw and the answer is yes so remove it
