You all told me.....

Every time you think of the price of ebikes, it becomes slightly more acceptable. I give you 6 weeks. Prove me wrong :D

I'm not a denier, I'm a convert, just recall looking at them 3 years ago and thinking, at that price, nah never in a million years, but three may be ;)

I'm 63, and I loved ebikes from the minute I did that test evening so wasn't about to wait a few years till the prices came down..... I knew they'd be refined a lot in the next few years, but mine is still brilliant, and wants for nothing that I can't do without for a bit. Not unlike the Levo ladies, I actually waited just a little while 'till the 2018 Trek became available, and then got a mega deal on my '17 model (brand new) as the dealer was shifting his 'old' stock. :)

I'm 63 too, and at the moment I'm loving my manual bike. Mind you, I'm getting really tempted to get electrified. If I hadn't shelled out on impulse in mid-Feb for an almost unused R1200R, I would could well have done by now. :blast

We need to compile a list of ebike deniers who then go on to buy ebikes.

I'm waiting for the joyous day when bod buys one :D

I was one of those very people! :D

I don’t mind admitting when I’m wrong. ;)

TBF manufacturers have always done that mtbs, later models always had a couple of tweeks but generally slightly specced down for the same price.

They were on the 2018 Levo
Forks and shock were downgraded on 2nd year models - a bit like BMW

Nutty, ( and anyone else who gets a Cube ) a good tip here. :thumb2

If you put a bottle carrier on the down tube where the two little screws are be careful. You can get a side entry / exit bottle made by Cube that fits perfectly BUT the bottom screw may not be long enough for some strange reason.

Anyhow, if you put a longer screw in TAKE THE BATTERY OUT FIRST! reason being is that the longer screw will go straight through into it! You’ll need to cut the screw down so it just goes through far enough to hold the carrier but not far enough to damage the battery. :thumb2
