I played roulette with the battery earlier, and lost. 2 miles from home and the fucker died halfway up a big hill. Oh how the other cyclists laughed when the smug twat had to pedal a 23kg bike up a hill!![]()

At least you have pedals. The Sur-ron doesn't and is 50+kgs.
you’ve inspired me to fill up the last 7% of capacity before going out shortly. Trying to be patient

That GT has some impressive fork travel , I bet cycling uphill is a challenge, but downhill wow.

Should I upgarde
I've only had it for about 28 years.
Did a about 20 miles on it today, off road it's a real bone shaker.
Oh and we've got proper hills.
Thats the Millenium Stadium in the back ground.

Even if you upgrade keep that Marin. Classic bikes are becoming a big market .
That’s good to hear...I’ll be needing to thin my bikes out soon and I have c1987 per production Rocky Mountain Stratos that use to belong to their MD.
Full XT 6 speed, thumb shifters, long levers and bottom bracket U brake. Richie ridged forks (ridged forks can be smooth) and Durace hubs
It’s served me well many years ago, competing in the eastern winter series and Wednesday evening MTB races at the Leytonstone cycle track. Children meant it moved to carrying a kiddie seat then a tag along and since then it’s just sat in the garage
That has to be a keeper. Have a look here http://www.retrobike.co.uk/
I got a very good price for my Greg Fuquay some years back....but how I wish I till had it (and my Team Marin from 1993)
) and Kriega style bags, I’ve just fitted this rather tidy Zefal tool bottle.
After pissing about with under seat bags (no good with a dropper post) and Kriega style bags, I’ve just fitted this rather tidy Zefal tool bottle.
I’ve managed to fit a pump, puncture repair kit, multi tool and some zip ties in there, and there’s still room to spare.
