I used 50% yesterday, and did the same ride, in reverse today, but it wasn’t meant to be. Interestingly, when I put it on charge, it was showing 3% on the display, so I guess 3% means zero when you’re out and about!

I've only had it for about 28 years.
Did a about 20 miles on it today, off road it's a real bone shaker.

Oh and we've got proper hills.

Funny I saw a chap ridding one of those yesterday - Old school.

No suspension erk!

Ive deliberately swapped out my 100mm forks for rigid carbon ones. The bike, whilst old now, is incredibly light and very quick. The trails here are technically easy (no welsh rock and slate ..!) and no suspension here is very do-able.

Even if you upgrade keep that Marin. Classic bikes are becoming a big market .

That’s good to hear...I’ll be needing to thin my bikes out soon and I have c1987 per production Rocky Mountain Stratos that use to belong to their MD.

Full XT 6 speed, thumb shifters, long levers and bottom bracket U brake. Richie ridged forks (ridged forks can be smooth) and Durace hubs

It’s served me well many years ago, competing in the eastern winter series and Wednesday evening MTB races at the Leytonstone cycle track. Children meant it moved to carrying a kiddie seat then a tag along and since then it’s just sat in the garage

I gave away a 90s GT Karakoram and bought a Genesis 29er that I never really got on with, it just felt heavy and clumsy to ride and was probably too big for me. I wish I still had the GT, though decent 26” rim brake wheels are not easy to find these days.

After pissing about with under seat bags (no good with a dropper post ) and Kriega style bags, I’ve just fitted this rather tidy Zefal tool bottle.

I’ve managed to fit a pump, puncture repair kit, tyre levers, multi tool and some zip ties in there, and there’s still room to spare.

I was thinking the same.
Everybody else carries a bottle or wears a rucksack with water bladder and room for a few spares etc. Nutty has to get some specialist fucking carrier for tools .
Still no room for spare tube, tyre levers or water !!

I wear a Camelbak. Any empty pockets in that normally have sandwiches in.
