Roger is a mate from Durban who ran the BMW off road school there. He was once in the SA special forces.

"We just couldn't shake the thought of the warnings about not traveling to close to the military. Yours truly (Roger) decided that if there was going to be any action, I wanted to be near the guys with guns, I was not about to go into a gun fight with my knife! I figured that once the shooting started I would be in a position to get one of our escorts guns and be of some use to the good guys."
