The only thing I've kept from the old one is the Migsel light bracket with ff50,s hid and that's questionable if it will fit.

I've got a perfectly good Tom Tom rider from the old bike so I'm F#%d if I'm buying an over priced badged sat nav with it , some of the quotes are talking about it being integrated with the wheel on the grip. I take it that will only work with there products

I believe there is only one thing that needs changing in order to get the old Ali boxes to fit the new 2013 model.
Th lock on the front that holds the box to the framework needs to be removed and placed on the rear - this will enable the box to be turned by 180 degrees and therefore fit on the other side also the locating lugs need swapping around
The exhaust cut out on the present N/S pannier is angled up the same as the exhaust i.e lower at the front than back.
Spinning it through 180 degrees would mean it's angled the wrong way.
The only way to do it is with some serious re-fabrication.
