Youtube downloader - Recommendations?

Anyone got a recommendation of a good, safe video downloader that will work with Firefox to download mainly from Youtube and Vimeo.

I accidentally lost the one I was using and can't remember what it was called...
looking around there are loads available but many seem to have malware probs plus errors like incomplete downloads in the reviews.

free and reliable. works with Chrome and IE, but I'm not sure about FF..?

I have Flash Video Downloader installed. Get from the Firefox plug ins / add ons. Seems to work ok and also gives the option to convert videos to other formats, MP4, AVI and WMV.

http://keepvid.com - just put url in - no need to install any buggy prog on your machine - works well and without any issues
