z technik new screen for 1150gsa

One of the boys said it looks like nelsons hat, but to be honest, who gives a shit?, function over fashion i say.
Did heroblobs sell it on sale or return?
and was it the standard height? or a taller one?what speed have you taken it up to?Theres quite a bit of science behind that screen.
I think the problem stems from the upper beak, i was gonna get an old one and saw it off and ride it again with no beak and see, but never got round to it, i have seen it done, it looks a bit odd, but so is the rest of the bike tbh.

I agree it isn't the nicest looking screen but it works very well. Very well.

I am 6'2" and standard Tosser build so ordered the XL screen. It has been tested in all weathers since November and it stops all head buffeting. I am very pleased with it.

I don't know whether Heroblobs do a sale or return.

screen

They do different height screens, can you see over it?,which is what i prefer to do.
They do a try and ride scheme, they are in liverpool.
When it warms up i may ride to Liverpool for the weekend, and try it out, and annoy gromit for 2 days..

I fitted the Ztechnik tall (touring version) to my bike. I'm 6' 2" and with my seat on the high setting I could just see over the top of the screen, though mostly looking through it. However, what disappointed me was that despite all the claims about reducing the buffeting around the head, I had worse buffeting than the standard adventure screen with torbinators.

I now run the standard adventure screen with torbinators, and the addition of the MRA Xscreen which has reduced the buffeting massively. I use the Ztechnek bracket with pclips to help clamp the torbinators. The whole lot is now solid, where as before there was a lot of flexing.

I haven't given up on the Ztechnik. I'm working towards cutting it down to the standard size and fitting the MRA xscreen.

Nomad,

I like in Felcourt all of 15 miles from Sevenoaks.

You are welcome to come over and have a look at the screen.
