Zega Pro pannier locks

Hi all,

My bike came with a set of Zega Pro pannier without the lock on them. With that in mind, I've cable tied the far end closed and left the other end unlocked but have just realised that there is a lock option that can be fitted for £11 a pop. To my mind I could probably find 4 small padlocks off ebay for not much more than the cost of one lock so... can any confirm if the locks are worth it?

Yes ,a lot neater and handier than faffing about with padlocks.

Yeah I'd recommend going with the proper locks, much less faff in the long run and fairly simple to fit.

I recently got a set of 6 locks and 2 keys from KTM for there Touratech panniers.
Worth checking the price.

Happy to sell you four new locks for £20 posted. Plus a loan of a key, so you can get some copies cut.

But I don't think it would save you much.
