Having purchased the 1250 gsa I’m about to dive in at buy new panniers as I’m fed up of the bmw ones I had on the old 1200....there seems to be 2inches of water in each side after a wet day so I either start selling koi carp or invest in some water tight ones.......so.... Bumot or Zega Pro2..?

I’ve had Bumot and they are brilliant, watertight, strong and the resistive hinges are a nice touch to. Powder coated so no corrosion issues.

I have the Bumot defenders and they seem pretty good to me...and they look great !

I must just be lucky, on my third set of bmw panniers 1 set on 2008 model and 2 sets on water cooled, many miles in pouring rain, never a hint of water getting in.

Bumot soft paniers

Try these they fit on the standard GSA frames.

I've had both.

Bumots are better, but perhaps not as good as Vern's

Bought my Bumots before the Defenders came out.

Awesome bit of kit and fit onto the BMW racks and are QD.

Powder-coated inside and out. waterproof and a choice of colours. You can also buy made to measure inner bags and lid bags.

Only criticism is that the key is small and fiddly to use on the mounting locks.

Very nice indeed, just get some BMW carry handles as it makes life easier, and avoids dropping them when taking them off, Bumot have a tiny carry handle but I do not like it.
