Zinc or stainless U bolt for RAM mount?

Thinking of swopping my gps mount, used to use a Migsel on my previous GSA but now looking to mount on top screen bar. Pros and cons Zinc or stainless U bolt ram ball mount. Sitting back now and waiting for the flack!

RAM-B-149Z or 149ZA (which uses RAM-B-231Z) and has 1" and 1.25" zinc u-bolts and shim RAP-319 in the kit. and sell more of this type
