Zumo 400 500 550 ?

I am looking to buy a Sat Nav. Probably Garmin of some description.
Any recommendations on which model ? 500 & 550 appear to be popular on here, but I can't find much on the 400 !
Any thoughts ?

Doing a compare on the Garmin site says that they both have an Mp3 player.

The only apparent differences are radio reception in the states and the ability for the unit to say streets names.

£368 from Amazon plus £7(ish) for next day delivery.
It arraived at 10:30 am the next morning. Version 3.70 software, but have since updated to 3.90 over the net.

Don't forget to get an SD card (now 70 pence !!!! on Amazon for a 1 Gb
I paid a fiver recently at ALDI and thought I got a good deal )

Happy with it so far, but haven't used it extensively yet.
