I have e-mailed an autocom stockist to see which lead I need to connect to my Zumo 400 to my autocom active plus. The answer was;

A lead to connect my Garmin Zumo 400, Part 1314 £35

Now this seems very expensive especially so when compared to the quote for the MP3 lead at £5. The Zumo 400 is not bluetooth so I cannot see why the lead is so expensive.

Any help appreciated.

It has a noise filter in it. As the Zumo is bike powered and so it the Autocom (although Active Plus can run off a PP9) you will, most likely, get ground loop interference. Believe me, you don't want that in yer ears for mile after mile. The lead has a black box in it with some circuitry inside that eliminates this, hence the cost. MP3 lead is just a straight forward lead, though if that's bike powered you'll probably need similar treatment/expense.

If you want to have your phone Bluetoothed to the Zumo and coming though to the Autocom you'll need an even more expensive lead. It doesn't mention the 400, maybe it doesn't have Bluetooth? You'd need to check with your dealer if that's the route you want to take.
