Zumo 550 Cradle Problem

I've just recently bought a replacement cradle from a Garmin dealer and having got the bike power lead fitted last week I set about fitting the cradle yesterday.

It was rattling so I opened it up (four recessed phillips screws on the back), the microphone jack had come ud-done and I was surprised to find no wiring visible inspite of the mic and earphone jack posts having visible posts for the wiring

Connected the bike power lead and nothing, zip, zilch

Can anyone easily open theirs and confirm whether I should see wiring
