Zumo 550 earpiece

My only comment on the Jabra would be do the earpieces fit in your ear comfortably when you have your helmet on ?

Some helmets have quite a lot of space around the ear so may be ok. Others have space round the ear but are snug when you're putting them on so be careful you don't rip your ears off

Finally there are the helmets which don't have the space at all and will (even if you can get them on with the earplugs in) cause you serious pain very quickly. Not recommended.

Two options with the Cardo Scala - either use the mini speakers which the unit comes with(and these are very slim), or as I said before, chop the wires (or get someone to do it) and add a socket for some UE or similar in ear monitors.

No worries with regards to the earpieces as I've a pair of Ultimate Ear monitors so they sit flush with my ear. They're what I've been using in the past with my Zumo 550. The 550 has been sold and was looking at using the 660's stereo Bluetooth instead of plugging them in directly.

where do you plug ear phones directly intoi the zumo
found a 2.5mm socket on the mount for the bike , bought a 3.5 to 2.5 mm reducer plugged my ear phones in cant hear a bloody thing - what am i doing wrong!!!!!!!!

I reckon you're in the wrong 'hole mate ........

is the audio volume up, have you a mp3 file in the Zumo playing? Never had a prob' with my Zumo with UE monitors plugged in!!!!!!

I found that if I pushed it all the way in then sound would either disappear or be in mono. I had to pull it out a bit and jiggle it about until it went stereo. Not ideal. Hopefully, I won't have any of this nonsense on the 660 when I fire it up in a few weeks time. I'll be plugging my Ultimate Ears into a Jabra BT3030 bluetooth headset. Fingers crossed.
