Hi, the wife has bought me a Zumo 550 for christmas:beerjug: but not owning one before I have a few questions if you can help me with .. (total newbie to this) anyway I plugged it into the PC got it registered and it said I had a free update..so when updating I only had enough room for northern Europe as had not enough memory!

my questions are:

How do i get all of Europe on at a later date?
What is the DVD for and what do I do with it?
What is this Mapsource and where do I download it?

sorry for being thick but not so techy :blast back to the xmas beer ..cheers :beerjug:

Buy an sd card and put maps on that.

The dvd has all the maps on and is loaded on your computer, you can plan and download routes with it.

Mapsource is the operating system and it`s on the dvd.

You can make space by deleting all the languages you don't need, so thats all exept english really.

Unfortunately, still not enough memory left for all the current maps.

As has been menitoned, the only way is to put all/some of the maps on to a SD card

You can download updated maps for about a month I think.Buy yer sd card then plug in to www.garmin and download again this time choosing the option of saving to computer. That way you download the lot and then can choose what to put on the zumo
