Zumo 590 not seeing music on card

I found that the best way to copy music onto an SD card that my Zumo 590 could see (format) was to;
1. Put the blank SD card into the Zumo
2. Plug the Zumo into the computer and then drag the music to the SD card in the zumo via the file directories on your computer.

It should ask if you want them converted. Click 'yes to all' and sit back.

This was how I finally got them all working perfectly on mine.

Does the device see routes & favourites on the card or is it just MP3's that are the problem ?

The card is just used for music, there is nothing else on it... the routes are on the inbuilt memory I believe

That's how I was doing it before, and it worked fine, but I didn't get the message about converting ...... I'm just trying the formatting programme posted further up the thread .... I'll see if that does the trick with the 32gb card

It can be frustrating formatting a card, for me i own a Nikon DSLR and have had success formatting cards in the camera to use elsewhere, i also use https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/ with some suceess. Good Luck

That formatter link seems to have done the trick

Just used it to format the 32gb card, then put it into the 590... dragged 6 songs into the card.... disconnected and they are all showing up on the unit... so result
